Who Keeps What Your Agents Learn?
Your company pays to build that context. It should not leave with the person who built it.
The context your team builds with agents is a business asset. It can hold decisions, the reasons behind them, and useful content the company wants to keep using. It also helps agents do more work without asking for help at each step.
Building that context takes time and money. People explain tasks, correct mistakes, and help their agents understand how the team works. What they teach the agent can help with later tasks too.
Context tied to one person’s setup
If the context stays in one employee’s agent sessions, the company depends on that person’s setup to use it. When they leave, the team can lose access to knowledge it paid to build.
The next hire still has to learn the business. They now also have to teach a fresh agent things the team has already worked out. Work your team has already paid for has to be done again.
Give it a home in the team
We built Firmament’s context layer to keep useful knowledge from agent work available to the team. Agents can use the context relevant to their tasks, build on it, and add what they learn. A new employee’s agent can start with what the team has learned.
That context needs a place in the handover, alongside the finished work. What the company paid to learn should still be useful after an employee leaves.
