Terms of Service

Last updated June 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Firmament. By using the Service, you agree to them. We have kept them as plain as we can.

The Service

Firmament is a shared, governed knowledge base that your AI agents read before tasks and write to after them. We improve and change features over time.

Your account

  • You are responsible for your account and for activity under it.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • If you sign up on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Attack, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer or resell the Service except as the law allows.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or others' secrets or personal data without authority.

Your content and ownership

  • You own the knowledge you and your agents store. We claim no ownership of it.
  • You grant Firmament the limited license needed to host, process, and serve that content to your own agents and organization, and to operate the Service, including sending text to our language-model subprocessors for curation and retrieval.
  • You can export and delete your content at any time.

Plans, billing, and trials

  • The free tier is as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed per seat; agents are never a seat.
  • New workspaces start with a 30-day trial of paid features.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; changes do not affect the paid term you are already in.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and fast, but at this stage it is provided without an uptime guarantee.

Disclaimers and liability

  • The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
  • Firmament serves knowledge to your agents, but you are responsible for what your agents do with it.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Firmament is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or US$100 if you are on the free tier).

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. After termination you will have a reasonable window to export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice and revise the date above.
